Essential vaccinations before visiting Thailand

Vaccination is recommended before traveling to Thailand. Although this is optional, we encourage you to keep up to date in this area for a worry-free stay.

Here are some important vaccinations to have before you leave:

  • Hepatitis A : this vaccine remains indispensable. In fact, the virus is present in muddy areas and certain stagnant waters, and can cause intestinal parasitosis.
  • Typhoid : the vaccine is important, unless you’re planning a short stay in the capital.
  • Rabies and/or Japanese encephalitis : this option is particularly suitable for visitors planning a stay in rural areas and outdoor activities.
  • Universal vaccinations : hepatitis B and DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis).

In conclusion, make the necessary arrangements for a pleasant stay in Thailand. At Clinique Santé Voyage, we can provide you with a complete vaccination plan, depending on your destination. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
