Vaccines establish immunity for diseases of all kinds, from mild to serious; some of these diseases are not yet subject to medical treatment. Some medical conditions are more viral than others, meaning they are more or less contagious. Vaccination therefore prevents the transmission of diseases to our loved ones. The risk of contracting diseases is very high in the first year of a child's life.
The Ministry of Health and Social Services of Quebec recommends the vaccination of children according to the official vaccination schedule.
